Fort York in Toronto

View of Fort York in Toronto originally built by Lieutenant-Governor John Graves Simcoe and was captured by American troops during the War of 1812. It was once on the shore of Lake Ontario, but more than 200 years later, it is now quite a distance from the water with the Gardiner Expressway and condo buildings now closer to the lake.
